Content assist no longer blocks on indexing, if the indexer is running and content assist needs to do a search, then it content assist will use the FORCE_IMMEDIATE_SEARCH waiting policy to search on the partial index instead of waiting for the index to complete. The indexer still needs to start working on waiting jobs right away though. Moving to future... The original defect has been fixed. If you wish to open another issue, please raise another defect. Since the Indexer no longer blocks content assist, I am marking this defect as resolved |
