Can you list (or provide screen shot) of your "software repositories" are, under preferences (Under the "Install/Update" category)? You of course need the following 'enabled'. http://download.eclipse.org/releases/luna From the error message, you may also need following 'enabled' http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates BUT, normally that would not be the case, so if it is the case for you, I am not sure why. Have you previously updated to EGit 3.7.0? Normally the 'EGit' that comes with Luna automatically is "3.4.2". You may have a "mix" of releases installed, which may be hard to "auto update" to? I'm going to move this to "cross-project" component for improved visibility. I don't think it is a "platform" problem, per se, but something related to a "mix" of components from different releases? (Just guessing). Sorry, seems I "messed up" initially when trying to assign to "cross-project" list. perhaps caused by a timeout due to the recent high load on the download server? Does the log file show any related exceptions? I am assuming this is resolved, or no longer relevant since so old. If someone has some different insight into it, feel free to re-open, especially if the same issue plagues more recent releases. |
