When I search an annotation with "Open Type" I find it natural to include the "@" as in "@Inject". Thus, please enhance open type to accept @ in front of an annotation.

Btw. just typing @ in open type should limit the matching items to annotations only.

Bug 341479 also asks for filtering by Java class types in Open Type dialog, though that is by enhancing the UI.
