I am posting this feature request here because I think it would be useful to all of the languages Eclipse supports and the modification may have to be made to the Eclipse core code. If this is not the appropriate place to make this feature request please feel free to post it to where it should go. Thanks much in advance.

It would be handy to have Eclipse highlight embedded code in a neutral color like light gray. It makes it very easy to see what is going on.

This URL goes to a screen shot I made of this feature in my current IDE ( about the only unique feature it has left over Eclipse that is keeping me from migrating over fully to Eclipse )

The screen shot is of a JSP page where I can instantly pick out the javascript, values placed in the page by JSTL and Java scriptlets:

Thanks much in advance and thanks for the tremendously good IDE

Steve
