I've been waiting for feedback on this one... I've tried to click it a couple of times. I do like the simplicity of the other ones (warning, progress, info...). I'll ask Linda to think about it. Anton has been doing some icon tweaking, so I'm going to move to him to consider tweaking or otherwise get on the design list see also bug 390961. Another context in which to consider the error icon. I added a new error icon. Going to consider this fixed. |
Created attachment 214184 [details] screenshot Prior to R0.4, Orion indicated errors using an "X" surrounded by a red circle (identical to the icon used in Eclipse desktop). In current releases it uses an uppercase 'X' in red. I find this rather confusing, as it looks very similar to the "close" icon that is used to dismiss errors. (see screenshot)
