Description Benoit Perrin CLA 2012-04-16 06:19:27 EDT
The TCF documentation for the register service (http://git.eclipse.org/c/tcf/org.eclipse.tcf.git/plain/docs/TCF%20Service%20-%20Registers.html) states that the result for Registers.get is a string object. The string itself is a base64 value. But with the latest TCF agent, the first character of this object is '('. It should be '"'.

The documentation is not updated to reflect the binary encoding of data that was added a while back. Whenever the documentation refers to binary data formatted as a string containing base64 encoded data it can also be encoded as (size)<binary> if both peers support the "ZeroCopy" services.
