Move to WebTools. Is there anything resembling a Java stack trace? Do you have any plug-ins installed in addition to WTP? Are you able to open existing JSP files at all? I am moving this over to Java Server Faces - my assumption is that this error occurs when the "editor" for the page is being brought up. Can you please verify what version of Eclipse (and WTP) you are running on? This would appear to be the Indigo release, but I wanted to confirm that. Also, does your web project have a specific Targeted Runtime? (Such as JBoss? Tomcat? Glassfish?) With the minimal info in the bug, we haven't been able to make progress on this issue. Given the lack of response, I am going to downgrade the severity to 'normal'. No response and we can't recreate this issue. Please re-open if you see the issue with additional information. |
