It doesn't in java projects with java files that aren't in a source folder.

"The CU indirectly references the missing type java.lang.Object" lets the whole
CU be rendererd with red squigglies. This makes Show Tooltip Desc., (Content
Assist,) Quick Fix, Parameter Hints unusable (in the Edit menu).
