When the user is in the UI to export project to an archive file, there should be a way for the user to automatically select projects that are referenced from the current selection.  This makes it much easier to get a zip contain a complete set of project, avoiding build errors on import.  This idea is seen in other areas of the UI (like opening projects) so it's odd that it is not found here.

Our product is based on Eclipse 3.4 and this problem was reported directly from a customer.  If a change could be made on a point release of 3.4, it would be ideal.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
