In the previous release, the concept of resource filters was introduced. We will make improvements to the implementation of filters, including optimizing the storage representation of filters, and providing extensible UI components for working with filters. We will also investigate using resource filters to flatten a hierarchy of resources into a single directory. [Workspace, Platform UI]

Serge, moving this to you since it is all things you were planning to do. If you think it is unlikely it will be done for Indigo please let me know and I will update the plan.

Unfortunately, the bugs listed as dependent in this bug could not be delivered by the 3.7 timeframe.

Yes, all the specific enhancements are captured by the dependent bugs so we can close this.
