We are supposed to mark "only a few" so has to not cause a lot of noisy traffic coming back to eclipse.org. I suggest we do 4 of them, that roughly correspond to our 4 main "deliverable packages": jsdt, xml, web, jee. Things like dali and jsf are of course important, but I think we don't need a separate count, they'd be equal to jee in general. While I don't have a fix in hand, I'm marking for PMC review, for awareness and comment. (The general code to do this, has been attached to bugs such as bug 310132. I plan to modify that, and make part of our build process). scripts/applications written, will be applied for our RC3 repo. This will be good, so we can confirm if they do indeed get "copied" correctly to the common repo. |
