In GEF WYSIWYG examples, the highlight doesn't work correctly for Arabic language.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.In Redhat Linux 5 OS, open eclipse in rtl mode , using -nl ar_EG
2.Press file->new->project
3.Enter an Arabic project name then press finish.
4.Select the project and right click, choose new -> examples -> GEF
5.Choose GEF WYSIWYG document example. Name the file any Arabic name.
6.Highlight any of the text in the file.

Expected result
The text is highlighted correctly

Actual Result :
The text disappears when we highlight a certain word or select a few lines.

Note : This bug doesn’t happen in English locales.

This defect is also reproducible on the following platform:
Ubuntu 9.04, SLES 11 and MAC
