Description Hitesh CLA 2009-10-22 12:01:42 EDT
This occurred to me during the code clean-up from Bug 292525. And indeed the first cut of the feature was an outcome of the above mentioned work. The feature allows filtering of markers based on the text values returned by the various fields in the markers view. The filtering occurs in two phases , once during the marker gathering phase, and then we have filtering at the UI level.

I have a screencast available at :

http://random-tech-thought.blogspot.com/2009/10/what-if-you-gave-guy-list-or-table.html

I will attach the first cut of the feature shortly (after adding some Jdoc ). The intent of the bug is to move it out of the experimental stage to a useful feature in the markers view.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
