PRODUCT VERSION: 0.135 Win 98 SE (also on Win 2000) For later work... Reopen for investigation btw: double click on system menu button should close view (for compatibility reason with MS Windows). now it acts like a double click on the view title and maximizes the view. This is still an issue in 3.1 There are currently no plans to work on this feature. PW Changes requested on bug 193523 ViewPane's showViewMenu(Point) method is where the SWT popup Menu becomes visible. We can use a boolean field to store whether the Menu is being shown or not to tell it to show up or not although the menu won't actually show despite the fact that the method is called "showViewMenu". We could add a hideViewMenu method but someone somewhere will need to store a field to determine which one to show. Paul, what are your thoughts on this? I'm also seeing some refactoring-ish TODO tags in PartPane and ViewPane. Is Platform/UI planning to change these classes for 3.4? This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. |
