Resolution of BIDI defects are not in plan for Galileo. BIDI in text fields in SWT applications are limited by issues in the base platform and there is no plan to address these issues in Galileo. Leaving open in case BIDI defects are looked at in a future release. |
Created attachment 132960 [details] Inconsistent resource name direction Build ID: I20090313-0100 Steps To Reproduce: Launch eclipse with RTL environment using -nl iw attribute 1. Create a general project contains complex expression (mixed of English and Hebrew text) 2. Create a GEF logic diagram 3. Click on the project name Result: In the Create logic file wizard in the field of the parent folder the project name has LTR text direction whereas it displayed in the view tree in RTL direction (as it should) More information: See screenshot attachment
