We can't do this until Hamcrest passes CQ. Was triaging all bugs in my list. Just realized that this CQ was approved. https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi Sorry the link was https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2860 Thanks, Ketan. Hi. I'm interested in using SWTBot to create screenshots for the Linux Tools project. I've finished reading Cedric Brun's blog post. Where can I start? Has any SWTBot code been written for the Linux Tools project? I want to write a simple example. Any suggestion or guidance will be appreciated. Hi Peter, (In reply to comment #5) > I'm interested in using SWTBot to create screenshots for the Linux Tools > project. Great! Sorry I missed you comment on this bug a week ago. > Has any SWTBot code been written for the Linux Tools project? No, not at the moment. My best suggestion (which is weak, I know) is to look at SWTBot documentation. Ketan, do you have any good pointers off the top of your head? There's a user guide to start with: http://wiki.eclipse.org/SWTBot/UsersGuide. The SWTBot api itself is quite thin, and there's only one class to know, really. Writing a couple of tests should get you familiarized with how to use swtbot. In case you're still stuck an hour after installing swtbot, give me a shout. EGit has a nice set of tests that you could look at to see what they do. http://egit.eclipse.org/w/?p=egit.git;a=tree;f=org.eclipse.egit.ui.test;hb=HEAD Thanks a lot, Ketan and Andrew. I'll give it a try and keep all of us updated. Closing. We can not rely on swtbot. |
