Build ID: I20090313-0100

Steps To Reproduce:
Attempt to connect to a repository that does not exist. Error message often cuts off too soon and gives no visual indication that the repository it attempted to find is slightly longer.

Case in point my two screenshots.

On Windows the window has a horizontal scrollbar, I'm not a Mac user but is the equivalent simply resizing? (I assume diagonal lines in the lower corner represent.)

At the moment the Details are the same as the error message bug267887.

Yes, resizing shows the whole string, but there is no visual cue from inside the text box that there's more to see (e.g. no scroll bar, or '...') leaving me to wonder: hey, is there a bug with the installer -- did it look in the wrong place?

Moving this to platform UI, as it seems to be a problem with the presentation of the error details on the mac.

Krzysztof, can you have a look? (If yes please assign to yourself)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
