In our adopter product we have seem a significant performance degradation in the method org.eclipse.jdt.internal.core.NamedMember.resolveType(String)

More information:
Some profiling data has been attached exposing just the eclipse stack.

But nothing is attached here...

It would be also helpful to describe a simple test case to exhibit this regression.
