This is the AJDT side of bug 246393.  The work for this has already been done and committed.  Tests are included with this fix.

I am creating this AJDT bug to track the AJDT side of the changes.  For a description of this bug and what changes are associated with it, see bug 246393.

Fixed and available in HEAD.
