According to Carolyn on the SWT-Newsgroup the setItemCount(1) is legal so we should investigate Boris Remenber that getItemCount() should return the count to be set, not 1. Even, you can read individual children programatically, even though the parent is collapsed. Just to remember that... The idea makes sense. http://wiki.eclipse.org/Platform_UI/How_to_Contribute @Viliam Durina Yes, getItemCount() would not return the correct amount to be set, but I think such queries should be made to the model and not to the UI components. And the JFace viewers already promote such separation. Hitesh is now responsible for watching bugs in the [Viewers] component area. This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. |
