Steps To Reproduce:
1. Open the history view for some text file
2. Select two revisions
3. Try to create a patch which you can post here to make it easier for Eclipse developers to fix it.

Aaron, are you talking about local or remote revisions? It looks like a dupe of bug 103681 if you meant local revs. If not I would make it a dupe of bug 71374 as it gathers all request for generating a diff from any comparison (opened compare editor).
