When running external tools, mostly the last line of output is important
(normally there is the information that no error occurred or which error
occurred). Therefore the Log Console should scroll automatically to the last line.
Perhaps this can be a user customizable feature.

We plan to integrate the log console with the debug console, which already does 
this.
