I20021015

With the latest Integration Build, the DEL key doesn't work anymore in all the
TreeViewers (at least in those I tries: Navigator, Package Explorer and Outline)

Please not that it is not only for trees but for all views, e.g. the key doesn't
work for Packages view and for edit pane in Synchronize view.
Comment 3 Chris McLaren CLA 2002-10-16 11:16:45 EDT
I confirmed that DEL did not work in 1015.
The new keybinding engine was released to head last night for M2. I confirmed
that DEL does now work in navigator & package explorer.
Comment 4 Chris McLaren CLA 2002-10-16 15:16:48 EDT
I made a mistake. The new key binding engine does not fix this bug from 1015.
We are investigating now.
Comment 5 Chris McLaren CLA 2002-10-16 15:44:28 EDT
ok. it is now fixed. there was an accelerator entry for DELETE in the default
configuration that was trapping this key.
Comment 6 Dani Megert CLA 2002-10-17 03:08:34 EDT
Just to be sure: this means it is not fixed in the build that we test today -
correct?
Comment 7 Chris McLaren CLA 2002-10-17 08:59:18 EDT
right. i didn't find it in time for the build, from what i was told. i will be
checking it in this morning (before 12 EST)

Build 20021017 still has this problem in all views.

ack!. ok.. i'm about three days away from my own commit rights. I send my patches around to be committed. I just watched Eduardo commit these, Dean will be starting a build specifically with these changes shortly. I'll try closing this again.. (third time's a charm.. :)
