Boris, Reassigning to you. We should review and include with the planned update to API guidelines. Scheduling for RC4. Note that there is a 3rd editition of the JLS which has more to say on the subject. RC4 is behind us, please update the target appropriately Setting milestone to 3.5 since RC4 is behind us. Please correct to more precise milestone. I am still planning to work on this as soon as I have some time. The target milestone does not really matter, this is about an article on eclipse.org and a wiki page. This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. |
