This is a must fix for i8 Valentina: The plugin (org.eclipse.cosmos.dc.cmdbf.services) comes under the feature org.eclipse.cosmos.dc.framework. Is this plugin required to included in the feature: org.eclipse.cosmos.rm. The SML validator, contains this feature. Can that plugin live in both the RM and the DC framework features? If so, then yes, at least for i8, we need it in both. Jagmit, having that we don't have any Update Manager install can you manually add the services plugin to the SML zip on the download page? I know it will be an orphan plugin, without a feature, but at this point the feature is not much used anyway. Another option would be as David suggests to add the services plugin to the RM feature. This should actually solve this packaging issue with no manual update of the zip content. In the long run, the SML code should be decoupled from the CMDBf impl but this is not a build issue. fixed in build (COSMOS-1.0.0-200801172153) marking this bug as fixed I don't see COSMOS-1.0.0-200801172153 on the download page This is the internal build id at http://download.torolab.ibm.com/cgi-bin/COSMOS/1.0.0/generate-downloads.sh. David suggested some improvement in it. Please check the latest driver there. Also uploaded the driver at cosmos download page. You can also check over there. I still don't see COSMOS-1.0.0-200801172153 on the download page I can't verify this defect on an internal driver Please use this build: COSMOS-1.0.0-200801181318 http://www.eclipse.org/cosmos/downloads/?buildId=COSMOS-1.0.0-200801181318 I verified with COSMOS-1.0.0-200801181318; the SML package contains the services plugin which is a prereq of the SML code. Thanks Jagmit Jagmit, as part of the fix please remove this sentence from the download page, under the SML package.
>>Note: in order to run the Resource Modeling tools on their own, you will also need to install the org.eclipse.cosmos.dc.cmdbf.query plug-in found in the Data Collection Framework download file

I'm marking the bug as fixed. |
