Description David Pérez CLA 2007-12-07 05:09:01 EST
Problem:
----------

Sometimes I copy by hand some needed file or create a folder, then I go to a very nested configuration dialog to select that file. Ths can be e.g. to set the source of a .jar file in the 'Build path' of a project.

I realize then that Eclipse hasn't yet refreshed the resources in the current workspace. As the dialog is modal, I cannot tell Eclipse to refresh there the resources. So, I have to dismiss all dialogs, refresh the workspace by hitting F5 in the navigator view, and then open again the dialogs.

Proposed solution:
-------------------

A refresh button in the workspace file (or folder) selection dialog.

I believe this goes to Tod as an IDE/Dialog bug.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
