The filter on the log view should be something you can toggle on and off.

+1. I've never used that filter in the last few weeks, and I would appreciate if I could regain that real estate.

Jacek, one of the goals in PDE is to keep Markus happy, can you look at this for M4 :)?

+1, I never use the filter either...its too bad one of the goals of PDE is not to keep me happy as well...sigh
