In an effort to reduce some clicking, it may make sense to allow the dragging of files onto
the editor area.  Since one never really knows whether they have opened the file before and 
if they haven't, what editor is going to open, it would be handy to simply drag the file and drop 
it on the editor area.  The minimal implication of this is "open an internal editor on this file".
I do not claim to have an answer for figuring out what editor to open...
