Lynne, is this working as intended or is it a bug? This is working as expected. Reset Toolbar Layout will just rewrap the items in the order as they exist. Reset Perspective will recompute the toolbar items (i.e., put them in the default order) and rewrap the items. I don't think this is concistent with reset perspective. I mean, reset perspective restores the layout state as it was before so reset coolbar should do the same. The operation was added to allow the user to re-layout their cool items in a fashion that displays them all and wraps when necessary. Perhaps "Reset" isn't the best word. What about "Layout Toolbar" or resolving this as LATER so we can fix it after 2.0? Reopening. Need to revisit this post 2.0. Ideally we wouldn't need it. Reopened for investigation See also [Bug 19139] [Coolbar] Build automatically preference and gripper update problem. Change Reset Toolbar Layout so that it fixes this problem. Removed menu item. Since cool items maintain their maximum size, the capability is not as necessary. One can use Reset Perspective to get the coolbar back in its original form. |
