There are a number of project preferences that I set whenever creating a new Java project (Save actions, formatting, errors/warnings, clean up, etc). Setting up these preferences is manual and cumbersome. I'd like to create a project profile that includes all of my project specific settings and apply it only once at project creation.

What you can do is copying the .settings folder. Or define the settings as workspace default.

We currently have no plans for such a feature.
