I would like to be able to add to the MRU file menu when performing Save As. It seems this is not the default behaviour (bug 79991).

It would appear that all I would need to do is call the EditorHistory.add(IEditorInput, IEditorDescriptor) method but there is no way of getting the EditorHistory object for the workbench as the accessor method is not available on the IWorkbench interface and it's protected on the Workbench implementation.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
