Description Pascal Rapicault CLA 2007-05-16 14:58:56 EDT
Views and editors are currently unaware of the way they are being displayed (for example fullscreen, fastview, iconized) which results in problems editors depend on views to show a complete state to the user or when several views are necessary.
In 3.3, an occurence of such a problem is the compare editor which has the ability to show the structure of the compare into the outline view. Therefore when the user maximize the editor area, the outline is no longer visible, therefore missing a lot of information.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
