So, a better explanation would be, "Activate to open items selected in the C/C++ Project view in an editor view." Or, do you mean, "Activate to open items selected in the C/C++ Project, Package Explorer, Project Explorer, and Navigator views in an editor view." The point is that no other view has a preference option for that. It's controlled by a view toolbar button and a corresponding menu item in the view menu. The preference option should simply be removed from the page. Removed the checkbox from the page. Created attachment 67044 [details]
