Removed editor option from table listing bjorn.freeman-benson: iplog+

Description Anton Leherbauer CLA 2007-05-09 06:30:50 EDT
The option "Link view selection with editor" on the general C/C++ preference page has only an effect on the C/C++ Projects view. As the default project view is now the Project Explorer (bug 170090), this can cause confusion (bug 185975).
Furthermore Package Explorer, Navigator and Project Explorer work in the same way.

So, a better explanation would be, "Activate to open items selected in the C/C++ Project view in an editor view."

Or, do you mean, "Activate to open items selected in the C/C++ Project, Package Explorer, Project Explorer, and Navigator views in an editor view."

The point is that no other view has a preference option for that. It's controlled by a view toolbar button and a corresponding menu item in the view menu.
The preference option should simply be removed from the page.
