build 0527:
comparing a file with a revision shows a table at the top with the list of
revisions. Revisions with long commit comments shows as "this is a [...]" and
there is no way, at least that I could find, to see the whole comment.

This is intentional; it's actually not because the comment is long but because
it has a carriage return in it (i.e. is multi-line). Selecting the revision will
cause the entire comment to be displayed in the text box at the bottom right.

(If you can't see the comment text box it's because you've disabled it; see the
triangle menu).

If this doesn't work, please re-open.

Re-opening because in the compare with revision editor you can't see long 
comments. The show in history does allow, and that is what James mentioned 
above.
