Could be related to this bug from ages ago: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=76683 Eclipse does not support mirroring on any platform other than win32. (In reply to comment #2) > Eclipse does not support mirroring on any platform other than win32. Randy, is this Eclipse or GEF/draw2d specifically? The product we develop for is going through loads of Linux and BIDI testing at the moment and I know that its RCP/Eclipse part does work in Linux RTOL to a major extent. You need to provide more details: what do you expect to happen? what is actually happening? How is GEF different from non-GEF editors such as PDE's plugin.xml? (In reply to comment #4) > You need to provide more details: > what do you expect to happen? I expect it to work the same way as it does on win32. > what is actually happening? It doesn't work: shows up as LTOR when should be in RTOL. > How is GEF different from non-GEF editors such as PDE's plugin.xml? But I see your point. Our draw2d diagram would work the same way as PDE's plugin.xml editor in Linux. It seems to be a duplicate of this one: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=115666 Defer BIDI issues to the next release. |
