Maybe the search index got corrupt. Try this: 1. exit 2. delete contents of .metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.jdt.core 3. restart Depending on your workspace size this may take seconds to a minute. Moving to jdt.core Steve, can you give me information to access this project on ottcvs1 to see if I can reproduce the problem? Thanks Comment #1 didn't help the situation. Rather than connect to ottcvs1, I'll see if zipping up the workspace works. Does a project need to be built before it can be Java searched? I will have to email it to you. It's large. I created a workspace with only the "Steve" project and verified that I could not Open Type "_Scrapbook". The class is package steve._Scrapbook in the "Steve" project. To get the project to compile, you will need to point at the SWT plugin that is in your Eclipse. Don't worry about the million or so compile errors. They are *normal*. Good luck! Ok what now. The workspace is too big for Bloatus. (In reply to comment #5) > Does a project need to be built before it can be Java searched? > No. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 167743 *** Steve, since we could not transfer your workspace and Frédéric believes that this bug is a dup of bug 167743, would you please be kind enough to check the behavior of a 3.3 M5 candidate on your workspace and report your results here? VERIFIED Verified for 3.3 M5 by reporter... Thanks a lot Steve :-) *** Bug 173454 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
