Hi,

We use variables to launch ant based java apps via "External Tools Run configuration".

While "variables" can be set up and used in "External Tools Run configuration", they can't be in Debug/Run configuration.

So we have to hard code it in Debug Run Configuration.

Can the run configuration UI be uniform and consistent in that it allows variables to be used in every field just like the "External Tools Run configuration" ? Particularly for local host and port no settings.
