According to line number, in matching revision, NPE would occur at: case ProblemReasons.ReceiverTypeNotVisible : this.handle( IProblem.NotVisibleType, new String[] {new String(field.declaringClass.leafComponentType().readableName())}, <<<<<<<<<<<<< new String[] {new String(field.declaringClass.leafComponentType().shortReadableName())}, nameRef.sourceStart, nameRef.sourceEnd); Steps will be necessary to reproduce. Please reopen if you find some. Compiler was trying to report an error due to a field of a non visible type being accessed. Changed CompilationUnitProblemFinder#process(...) to dump the source as well as the exception Dani can you please take JDT Core from HEAD. If this happens again the .log will contain the source of the CU that is being reconciled. so far things worked fine. reopening, this looks the same as another issue we just resolved, and for which a testcase was given. |
