Move to Platform/UI I think there must be a way in Eclipse to cycle thought series of bookmarks with some enough easy keyboard shotcut. Also it would be great to have some mechanism to quickly bind different edit locations to concrete keyboard shortcuts. For example I bookmark an edit location with ctrl+shift+F1, and to go back to it I might use ctrl+F1. I can bind ctrl+F2, ctrl+F3 and so on.. So jumps are easy and very controlled There are no plans to work on this feature (In reply to comment #3) > There are no plans to work on this feature But why? It is very usable feature, most IDE have it! Reopening as requested This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. |
