The sizes of the linux zips listed on the intalio site do not match the size of the zips I downloaded. Specifically, designer.installer.linux-5.1.0.022.zip is 42M, not 92M (and an invalid/incomplete zip file), and bpmn-modeler-linux-3.4.zip is 54M, not 89M.

bpmn-modeler-linux-3.4.zip, despite being for Linux, includes a 3M directory called "__MACOSX". And when I start up eclipse and point it at an existing workspace with existing .bpmn_diagram files (like the Bugzilla or Eclipse IP Process ones in the wiki), I get raw XML instead of the Bpmn Diagram Editor. There's also no wizard available for a new Bpmn Diagram. Something is clearly missing from this all-in-one bundle.

That said, I can do all of the above successfully with Eclipse 3.4 "Classic SDK" + BPMN as installed from the Ganymede update site.

Indeed, the shadow effect is really cool! The BPMN modeler has come a long way in terms of usability and "good-lookingness" since its beginnings; I'd dare to say it's one of the best looking GMF-based editors around!
