Eclipse Translations: French in the lead

I ran a quick query on Babel translations to see which languages were in the lead for translating Eclipse:

+————+————-+
| name | StringCount |
+————+————-+
| French | 786 |
| German | 151 |
| Polish | 82 |
| Arabic | 9 |
| Portuguese | 2 |
+————+————-+

The French definitely have it going on … and they’re not all from me (I only translated a few strings). Come on folks, let’s get translating!

The trick is to take 5 minutes on it every day :) I got about 10ish in yesterday, it’s kinda hard entering accents with a qwerty keyboard.

Shoot… I spent quite some time translating a bunch of messages to Portuguese and didn’t realize that I was writing translations for Portugal’s Portuguese whereas what I intended was to provide translations for Brazilian Portuguese.

So… would it be hard to copy those strings to the Brazilian Portuguese catalog directly on the db? I would hate to have to reenter them all one by one usng the web interface. Sorry for the mess, I guess I wasn’t thinking…
