A WebMaster’s view of Eclipse.org

Rants, praise and observations related to the technical and psychological challenges of running servers for a pretty busy site.

Portland Eclipse Demo Camp

Last night was the Portland Eclipse Demo Camp and it was great! A lot of people showed up and presented some really cool stuff. It was a great opportunity to see what everyone is working on and get a first hand look at some of the projects that you never get a chance to use. I kept thinking, “Hey that’s a cool project maybe I should find some time to work on that.” I think I thought that for almost everything though, so I’m not sure where the time will come from. :) If there is an Eclipse Demo Camp still happening in your city, you should attend! It was a great opportunity to put faces to names and see what is happening in the Eclipse Ecosystem.
