Eclipse 3.2 SDK download stats

The Eclipse SDK 3.2 release just registered over 1.28 million downloads, and an additional 27,000 downloads using BitTorrent (a whopping 2%). Not too shabby. The busiest day for downloads was July 3, with 31,000. Where does all the traffic come from? Here are the top-20 countries:

    Denis, Are these numbers based on quieries through the download.php tool to provid mirror sites? Are they restricted to only “zip” requests? Or .. do they include jar requests made via update manager? I’m curious if there’s any (overall) numbers that that give an indication of update manager use, as opposed to zips (similar to what you track with bit torrent).

    These are only downloaded production 3.2 SDK releases from eclipse.org and mirrors (reached from eclipse.org).

    We do know there are many more downloads that origionate from other sources like bittorren and we couldn’t even begin to imagine how many downloads come from packaged apps built on Eclipse.
